    BEWARE "charity" chain letters!

OK. Maybe you guys received a reply from an angry victim of chain letters.

I'm not gonna quote the letter. Instead I'm going to give you impartial information on this stuff. Searching on google for chain letter hoaxes, i found this:

    http://urbanlegends.about.com/library/weekly/aa111500a.htm

Title: Charity Hoaxes Tug Cynically at Heart Strings
"Dying children" of chain letter fame don't exist

Whew. Finally all this garbage got exposed. It's incredible how people can play with others' emotions just to have a good time. Actually, I've always wondered. "How do these guys really find out who's received the e-mail letter"?

It wouldn't happen until one of the people forwarded turns out to be the administrator of these huge ISPs like AOL or something. But ta-da! They have email blockers.

And speaking of email blockers, let's remember! The most probable thing is that sooner or later the chain mail will arrive at the hands of someone who sells e-mail addresses to spammers.

So, please stop. I'm speaking specially to people under 15 who are, sadly... :sweat2: too naïve.

I apologize if this announcement was put in the inappropriate place, but I think it is relevant and we all must know about it. Besides, saving the bandwidth and time of our community is relevant, don't you think?

    Quoting the article:

    God bless you all!
