Cheating or No

alright seems like i missed some stuff while i was away from BJP. oh well i think im caught up now.

i have a girlfriend but i like another girl and it makes me feel like im cheating on my girlfriend somehow....

does that count as cheating on her?

 

Yes, it does. Why? Because you WISH you were with her. This is, your heart and desires have stopped focusing on your girlfriend. And this will slowly hurt her. Many marriages end up in divorce because the guy stopped loving his wife.

So you have 2 choices:
a) Resign from wanting that girl, or
b) Break up.

Just a warning: Your desires will change sooner or later. But your decisions won't. Love isn't a feeling (being "in love" is not the same as "loving" someone). It's an act of your own will. People can quit something they like a lot - and when they do, they usually improve their lives and their quality as persons.

If you're christian or believe in God, whatever, I'd suggest you to pray. Prayer always soothes the heart and brings clarity to the mind
