    This has been being said for over a year now. The only problem is that there doesn't appear to any magical solve everything solution. I personally feel the entire medium (message board) is on its way out of style and has given ground in popularity to Personal Networks (myspace, facebook, etc) and Instant Messaging.

    Of course I could be wrong - wouldn't be the first time my opinion was 180 degrees from the truth.

    I think that is right. Which sucks cause I want to be able to chat about anime with people. None of my friends like it except one. He is just as crazy as me about it. But we have not talked in months. Heh.

    I wish they "cartoonnetwork" would dig out and play the really good Anime. Naruto is a start but it shouldn't end there. Bleach was a good choice. GITS another one though I have yet to watch it. Maybe Death Note will turn it all around.

    Way we like it or not I think that CN has much influence over anime over here. Toonami Jetstream was an awesome idea but they need to play better more "adult" shows. I think now a days people can handle it. I guess I don't see anything as having ratings.

    I think you guys are wrong. I still go to several message boards. Some are still quite bustling. I don't see them as a dying medium at all.

    I also don't see anime's popularity dying. I see tons of its popularity in other places. Just not here.

    Actually I noticed that the other boards have also gone down. Anime popularity has dropped some in the states.

    Though making them way to busy wouldn't be fun at all.
