Video Games Check this out?

I just demoed Wild Arms 4 that comes out Jan. 10 and it was pretty good. Anyone ever play a wild arms game? What is everyones all time favorite RPG game?

 

I thought there was already a thread about this... I haven't played any WA games, but I'm sure I'll check one out sooner or later.

 

Hmm, wild arms 3 was rather good. I have it and I usually play it on a rainy day...but not that I play it 20 hours / day.

I'm a HUGE Mechwarrior fan myself. And any futuristic shooter is okay by me.

It looks really good. The site has some nifty music. I might buy it, but ive never played a wild arms game. But it looks really cool.

 

The game is cheap its $39.99 instead of $49.99 so its a little less expensive. If you check it out let me know what you think.

 

It looks alright actually. I like the HEX battle system, that's pretty unique and you really don't see those in many other RPG's out there. The characters look alright, but I've seen the storyline type before in FFX. Invaders come, you team up with random people you find, fight the evil, somehow win.

Edit: I think I know where Ciel got her name now. Maybe?

 

I haven't played wild arms...but I heard it was ok...some people told me it was great...and other say its awsome...no bad reviews so it must be good right!?!?!

And now that it's released, I'll start checking Game City every few days. I'm looking forward to playing this game. ^^

 

i played the second one for a while until ff8 came out, then it was over for me.

 

Played and own Wild ARMs 1, 2 and 3 and really, really want Alter Code F, the remake of 1. I love the Wild ARMs series.

 

Welp, I just bought a copy of Wild ARMS 4. This is more a reminder to myself to post about it when I've had a chance to play it than anything else though.

Looks to be pretty good so far, though this new battle system seems a bit confusing right now.

Edit: After about an hour of playing, I have to say it's startng off really well. The battle system is quite a bit easier to understand than I was worried about, the music is great, and the graphics are certainly very well done. The actual gameplay (which is of course what really matters) is quite a bit different from say, Wild ARMS 3, but quite interesting, showing a combination of 2D platformer and typical 3D navigation that's been prevalent for so long now. Story looks interesting, although I can't say I've seen enough of it to really know for sure.

This one's a keeper, from the looks of it. Can't wait to get back to it!
