Music Chirstina Aguliera or Britney Spears

Neither! Admittedly, I haven't given Aguilerra a chance, I heard one song and filed her under the same category as I file Brittany Spaniel.. err.. whatever her name is. I prefer BOA. I can't stand singers that sell based on looks... so naturally I hate no-talent hacks. Boy bands, Girl bands, they aren't even bands, they don't sing to music, they sing to a string of synthesized beats and notes scientifically designed to titilate a specific audience. They're manufactured to make money for the recording industry... Making money in the recording industry is too easy.. just put together another group of pretty faces and start cranking out 'hits'.

Note: I haven't specifically railed against Aguilerra, I haven't got enough information to actually classify her under my category for 'music' groups like those described above. But, she looked suspiciously like she'd be there by the one video/song I've seen/heard.

2nd Note: Actually I do listen to some 'manufactured' stuff. I find a certain degree of humor (not actual musical enjoyment) in the whole 'Idol' singer concept. 15 minutes of fame, then they stop. It should be like that here. I suppose that's what really bugs me about the groups here, they linger like a stain on a white shirt.

I too have not heard enough of Aguilera's stuff to be able to say anything. Actually, it's kinda trua about both. They both seem to have that Ohrwurm quality.. ie engineered to make you like them

 

well i dont really like either of them. sure some of their songs have a good beat but both their voices get on my nerves...but thats okay! oh and one thing about britney...if shes not a girl, not yet a woman then does that make her a man?

As for the subject matter driving the poll, even if I didn't like Miss Aguilera (don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of hers), that Britney song about being a slave or something like that, well, it's not even music! It's just ... I don't know ... noise! Aguilera's got a few decent tracks, I have to admit, though. Spears is just a skanky ho with no talent of any sort (I know I said I'd keep my posts clean, but what am I going to do?).

As for what Seraphim said about Britney Spears, I agree wholeheartedly. I can't stand her. She's almost as much of an idiot as Kid Rock, but he at least can put down a halfway-decent beat once or twice on each of his CD's. Spears can't sing, she can't dance (not very well, anyway), she gives bad interviews, she's a bad example for today's youth, she's just plain wrong!

Of course, this is just my opinion, so please don't take this the wrong way. And to answer any pro-Britney people out there, no, this is not one of my "I had a bad day" posts. This was actually a pretty good day for GNZ. This is just words from the heart, not something Britney Spears would know about ... poppy [PURAZUMA!] that she puts down ...

As a final thought, let me just say that some of Britney Spears's songs would make kicking rock tunes, if they were put down by, say, Powerman 5000 or someone. Any hard rockers out there?

you probably wouldnt have guessed it but I AM A HUGE ROCKER!!! i love powerman 5000, ozzy osborne, metallica, korn, blink182, stone temple pilots and just about everything in between. i love rock music, both hard and alternative. very cool and much better than that pop stuff floating around these days... no offense to anyone who likes pop i used to be in that boat

 

Christina is better than Britney Spears.

note: i prefer britney spears. its really kinda hard not to judge by looks.
but if it was ENTIRLY based on looks and sex appeal, then HOLLY VALANCE IS MY GODDESS!

 

ChRiStIna is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better. Britney Spears might be pretty and all but she can't sing. And I heard that Britney canceled some concerts (in the mid west USA) because some of the stages weren't big enough and she didn't want to stay and try to make it work. I thought that wasn't right at all especially when the concert had already been sold out.

As for Christina, I really like her too and at least from what I've heard, she can show up to a concert and perform just fine even when she's sick! And that's a great PlUs!!!

My Vote is for Christina all the way!

Christina for me tbh.. I like her song, Beautiful. Britney doesnt really sing well if you ask me and she hasnt released a new album in a while soo.. I give my vote to Christina.

Neither of them tbh...Well they are talented artists...but i don't know why they use "sex appeal" to sell their records. Yes, Sex sells alot but, they don't have to undress themselves to Rolling Stones, like Britney did and Christina did that just recently...

i hate both of them, well not hate as that is a strong word. i dislike both of them with an extreme passion. i dont think either 1 of them can sing. i think, they have gotten 2 a point of total bullschiza. when i first heard britney spears, i thought, hey, a change in music, doesnt sound 2 bad, then it hit me, i was baked. but frum then since on, ive disliked them, almost at much as i dislike mr george bullsh-coff coff-bush
