Recreation Christmas is cancelled!!!

Uh. Well, actually, it's just banned. In Scotland.

 

Wow, how far can we go? I'm gonna go tell all my vertically challenged, racially diverse, sexual minority, differently gifted, and opposite gendered friends about this. I mean, I think all my different brand of friends need to hear about this.

Okay, that's just insane. Who is the word "Christmas" going to offend? "Oh no, you're not Christian, so you have to be offended by the word Christmas. I'm so sorry I used it!"

hmm i don't understand it either but hey i gues ppl are just trying to be overly nonoffensive to ppl now adays. I'm Christian and i have many atheist friends who don't give a d*** if i use the word christmas or not and they use it all the time as well.

 

Soon we will all have to go to Japan to celebrate Christmas

And let's not exagerrate things too much eh? Xmas is not banned in Scotland, merely banned from being used on the MSP's official greeting cards. It is easy to see where all this is leading though..

Where I live (which is a big part of the bible belt in North Carolina) I've never heard of anyone getting mad over saying Christmas. However, they have over other words from different religions.
