Eirtaku cinema

hi all !

don't know if it's better to place this thread in eirtaku or movies but here i go anyway... here, i suppose most people will see it

saturday 21 and sunday 22... good movies to be seen in ugc dublin...
i can't tell what time exactly but there's one movie i don't remember the name around 10AM on saturday, infernal affairs around 4 i think and zatoichi a 8.40PM. on sunday, there's battle royal 2 around 10AM...

I guess i'll spend most of my week-end in the cinema...

 

i'll be at zatochi and br2.. but I'll be quite stoned, so don't be upset if I can't talk..

Might try and get in to see battle royal 2. I've seen the first so i might as well try and see the second. I've never heard of any of the other films but if i can get some info about them and they sound good then i might try and go to them.(if i can persuade one of my friends to go with me, none of them are anime or japanese cinema fans (losers! lol))

 

zatoichi is a movie with/from kitano.
it's been released a while ago in france and most of my friends saw it and said it's awesome...

i guess there are too many films that i should see, i will only go for the asian ones and for "tais toi" which is said to be bad, so don't follow me on this one if you have to pay lol

I'll be at Twighlight Samurai, Zatoichi, the suprise film and Battle Royale 2. I won 5 free tickets from my filmsoc at college.
I are not a stoner, but I can see it's merit. I mean, what better do you have to do with your time? And how is it a waste of money if you just scab it off somone else? Eh? Eh?

Same here. I was going to go see BR 2 but i'm not going to get up that early in the morning, and i've also had stomach cramps all day to day. So i'm just going to watch Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon tommorrow on the tv :anime: .

 

Good enough film.

Met DL in the cinema and saw Mord afterwards....Wouldn't see it again.

 

Managed to get my act together and went to see BR2.

That film SUCKS. Anyway i think i should have tried to see a few more films but what can you do?
Saw Mord there too. If anyone else was there then i guess i don't know what anyone looks like.

 

zatoichi ****ing rocked, best kitano film yet. gotta get it on dvd.. legit or no!

 

Zatoichi was damn good, not sure if it's his best film so far. I liked Hanabi a lot, and BR 1 was hella good. I couldn't help comparing it to Akira Kurosawa/Toshiro Mifune films, and as cool as Beat is, I'm not sure he's quite as good as the combined efforts of those two at their best. Akahige, Sanjuro, Yojimbo, 7 Samurai = pwn.
