    Heidi

Check this out Sachiko! It's one of the unforgetable classics, but I wasn't a big fan of it... :p

It's a total of 52 episodes... It's a Zuiyo Enterprise Production and first Broadcasted at Fuji TV...

    A classic.. :)

    Lady Lady (redei redei)

THis is one of my favorites! A shojo anime, true, but a classic and touching story...

    # of episodes: 21
    Production: Toei Animation

    The Art: 8/10
I would give it a 8/10... The anime was superb! The horses were well drawn... Some guys look a little girlish (Arthur and Edward), but it's acceptable :)!

    The Story 8/10

Lady Lady is about a girl called Rin whose mother is Japanese and her father the son of an English lord. The Lord, Lord Brighton, doesn't approve of this marrige and doesn't accept Rin as his grand daughter. After a car accident that caused her mother's death, she vowed to become a lady and travel to england to meet the rest of her family. Poor little Rin is not welcomed. Her Step sister Sara( the eldest of John Brighton's daughters) doesn't welcome her, and treats her very harshly. Then things change and Sara become more kind and loving to Rin. But the problems aren't over yet! AT school Rin get all kinds of trouble, and at home with her Step mother(the 3rd wife of JOhn Brighton, whom is not the monther of Sara nor Rin).... Later on in the series, she becomes interested in horse riding and racing. She desires to win the medal (symbolizes Rin becoming a lady), and through only through a cetain race she can obtain it!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED SERIE!;) Although I wonder how one can obtain old animes like this that are being forgotten...

Oldest anime I ever saw was Astro Boy. I don't think that one was really a "classic" though ...

Rose of versailles is awesome!! Anyone remember 'The Adventures of Unico" (not a classic but an oldie!)? *sighs* Sadly, most of the anime I seem to watch these days is 1990s and late 80s stuff.
