CLAMP Works Clover: What do you think of it?

    Anyone heard about that? I just stumbled upon a link or two at Anipike while I was searching for CLAMP Campus Detectives stuffies... I didn't like CCD that much, but Clover's really cool...!! ^_^ There's this site, Fairy Park, that has translations up. It's so cool... Though I'd say it's not really a kids' manga. (Just because of that one scene. >.>;; Freaked me out, but it's nothing explicit)

    So...your thoughts?

    personally i love the series...really neat...hmm...must look at that site..i have a japanese book 7 ...hmm....

    grr..i swear it's book 7...but it's hiding at the bottom of a pile of boxes with the rest of my books...<sigh>

    I found out about clover not too long after it came out ( I just adore clamp) and it's a very good manga haven't gotten it yet but from waht I read on the net it's very good. They also have a new manga out called Chobits (that's whare I got my user name form)
    I have the first manga in the series and plan on geting the rest. It's cute a very good as well.

    k..i finally went diggin(was looking for my japanese reader, but oh well) and found my japanese copy of clover...it's number 2..eh heh..lol guess i was wrong about 7..lol silly me*^-^*

    I just picked up one of the books a while ago.
    Since I, stupidly, started on book number four, I got very confused. From what I can tell I really love the story. Besides, I'm just a huge clamp fan!:D

    I haven't really watch any eps, but it does look good. I also discovered it in Anipike (Ah! good ole' reliable Anipike!!!). I'm still gonna make some researching...hehehe...I sound so intelligent...

    Ahhh, no eps huh? I thought there was an anime...too bad...

    It's good there's no yaoi thing...I like Lan (or Ran???). I was asking 'coz there's this site that says there's something between Lan and that other guy (forgot his name), the guy with the shades...I was getting a little confused...:confused:

    they're just friends...ran's first and only friend really...see, ran's kinda a bout...a kid...but, he has a few years left to live...and is allowed to live with him

    He has only a few years to live?...poor guy....
    this manga seems so interesting...I think I'm gonna find out more on this one....;)

    for the most part, you can read them in any order, except 1 and 2...read one before 2...it'll make more sense...but 3 and 4 can be read at anytime and make a bit of sense, but if you read em in order, life is easier*^-^*

    Thoughts on Vol. 2, Spoilers abound!

    ::sniff::

    I just read the first two books.


    ::SPOILERS!!!!::





















    I thought that the storyline and romance between Suu and Kazuhiko would end sadly but not so soon! I knew there were four books so I assumed that things would be left hanging at the end of book two so that three and four could wrap it up. I didnt know that 3 and 4 were prequels, so I'm happily reading when, BANG, Suu dies! I'm terribly depressed now. I'll definatly buy 3 and 4 but it won't be the same without Suu. Hopefully they find a way to work her into the prequels too. I bet Clamp does, but that doesn't change the fact that she dies. It was so romantic, the way she ended it all. She just jumped to #2 on the greatest anime girls of all time, for me. If anyone else has read this please tell me what you think about the untimly, ubrupt end to dear Suu.

    i like it a lot except that it is short.
    i wished it would of went on longer.
    finished about 2 weels ago and am still sad about Suu :sad:
    i liked it though

    I thought it was really good. I didn't even notice that Suu died!!!! I can't believe she did. The seires seemed incomplete to me. If Suu hadn't died, She and Kazuhiko would have made a cute couple. :catgirl:
