CLAMP Works Clvr: should it have lasted longer?

does anyone think that clover should have lasted longer after the 2nd volume instead of going to prequels for books 3 and 4?
i think it should
one thing i don't understand is that at the end of the 2nd book the encryption code leaf on kazuhiko's hand didn't dissapear
the wizard ko said it would dissappear after the mission was over
anybody else wonder about that?
anyway, do you think the manga should have gone on longer?
