Movies College Movies

There are a lot of movies out there with appeal mostly to college students, prospective college students and former college students. To give a few recent examples of what I'm talking about, National Lampoon's Van Wilder and Old School. What are your favourites?

I'll get the ball rolling, proclaiming the greatness of Revenge of the Nerds. It gives hope for us all.

Animal House!

I used to hate college movies, but now I can't get enough of them.
If only college here was like that.

 

Animal House all the way. I've heard Old School was good, but have yet to see it. I can't think of any others that weren't named, though.

 

Old School was great, if only for the fact that Will Ferrell was in it, and as we all know, he is one of the highest-esteemed masters of comedy.
Road Trip was okay too, but some of the jokes were a little cliché.

Okay, I was forced to watch Van Wilder again tonight, and I've decided it should be removed from the list of good college movies.

 

American Pie! That's pretty much the key pre-college movie. Even though it's not completely original, to me it's one of those movies that just covers a lot of perversions (webcam action, the "cool" dad, girl conquests, MILFs, etc.) That movie came out the same year that I was a senior in high school, just like the characters! And after seeing that movie, I was wondering if my crazy friends were gonna pull me into a "pact" like in the movie.

 

American Pie 2, maybe, but not so much the (superior) original.

I just realized I hadn't mentioned Revenge of the Nerds yet! Greatest college movie ever!
