    Yes. The new avatars will see slow release over the next two weeks... About one a day will simultaneously be on showcase in this thread and be available for use in our collection here on the boards...

    And yes, they are animated!

    It starts...

    Happy Monday Everyone!

    Todays the day I kick off the special edition avatars! Now available for use:

    "Raging Baiko"

    Background Information
    ----------------------
    I originally planned to use this avatar as my replacement (way before "Hyper Ponta" existed). Based on the cool action scene in Episode 5 of J to X, Baiko extends her beam sword to about 10 times its length, slashing down an enemy robot. Raging Baiko was narrowed down from about 20 screencaps to the final 8 frames it has become. After finishing it off, I realized it was pretty fun and pleasing to my eye, so it was time to convert some other scenes I liked...

    So we're looking at about 1.5 kb per frame with baiko, and two plus with Ponta.. interesting.

    I suppose a 30k gif would have been too much, so good call paring it down to 8 frames!

    Background Information
    ----------------------
    My third creation in the SE series, I was somewhat dissatisfied here. It's offcenter, but since Lime is halfway offscreen in this scene, I had to leave it that way.

    This scene is taken once again from J to X, where the distinguished Shirataki visits Japoness. He frequently asks where he can see the Japoness girls. The sabers put on a short show in an effort to show that there are no need for the girl clones, since they possess Otome Kairos and thus are about as human as a real girl...

    Background Information
    ----------------------
    The second animation that came to mind. I found this scene impossible to pass up for the SE series. Hanagata performs a dance, ovlivious to everything around him, and winds up in jail for it... More proof that the sucker never gets an even break...

    BakaMattSu, Maybe this is the perfect time for another Spiff-Cam plug?
