    Conan in Canada (..maybe this should be a debate...duno)

    The famous Night talk show host Conan o Brian had gotten in trouble in Canada for "racist remarks" and other stuff...

    Yeah, I heard about this. You know what's funny... Conan did make fun of the Canadians, yes, but so did Mike Myers when he guest-starred, and the audience (presumably Canadian majority) loved it. I thought it was a riot, personally, because it seemed to me as though he was poking fun at the stereotypes as opposed to the people.

    I saw it since i got to see it from my american telly. i think conan is hilarious specially triumph. CONANADA was sooo funny! damn those stupid quebec-ians.

    actually, I didn't appreciate some of the insults to Québec inhabitants. I mean, no wonder they want to be separatist. Myers had more light humour towards fellow hosers. so that was fine, but I think the whole dog puppet thing went too far.

    I don't really watch Conan, but I am familiar with Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, if that's who you mean in the above statement. Anyone familiar with that sock puppet's tendencies will know he goes "too far" with any spot he does. ^^;

    Yeah, for a full week before, that whole event was splattered all over the radio waves like we were welcoming the Queen of England or something. For sheesh sakes, it was only some second-rate late night host, but people flocked to see him nonetheless.
