Cowboy Bebop confuzled O.O?

    i was a bit confused about fayes past....first off where exactly did she live as a girl? (kawaii!!! ^^ *shes needs to lose the headband ><*)

    and also what exactly was the gate accident? ive seen all of Bebop but somewhat out of order so i was wondering what i missed...cause i dont understand what happened then...


    anyway...faye looks so much better when she was younger not too mention nicer...but anyway Hard Luck Woman was the saddest episode i saw in bebop except Real Folk Blues Part 2.

    It doesn't actually state where Faye is from. But, she seemed to live in a North American or European area. As you can tell by the fountains, and the style of hourse (I believe), not to mention Faye's friend and grand daughter.

    And the Gate Accident was when the Gate imploded on its first public flight (which Faye was one) which ended up shattering the moon. That's why there's so many rocks around the moon, and why Faye was in cryo-stasis. She was *in* the maiden flight, and she was injured seriously (supposedly at the cellular level, if Doctor Bacchus wasn't lying about that either) and had to be put in cryo until there was technology available to cure her.

    I thought the debt part was very realistic. You know those doctors would charge you for some crazy stuff if you got put in cryo-stasis.

    yeah well doctors are notorious for doing things like that ^^;;; anyway i think he house was in northern Europe cause ive seen houses like that but the lion is based off of a statue in an asian country. but was she living in like a boarding school or something? thats what i couldnt figure out

    No, it seems she lived with her parents, unless that boarding school has HUGE rooms. As she was on the maiden flight to the Gate, it can be safely said she went to a private school and she's fairly well off.

    And I'm not certain, but I'm also pretty sure you'll find houses like that everywhere. But yeah, the design is pretty european, and you wouldn't find too many of those kinds of houses with that size in Japan. However, the walls of the street were very Japan influenced, it looked like. So, it could be made to be a general place. However, from her classmate, Annie, I perceived a more European/North American type of place. However, the video DID show that they wore fuku. So...there goes that theory, in a way.

    yeah that makes sense so i guess ill take that as the answer...

    also she was born in the year 1994 right cause she was twenty when she was killed in the year 2014 so then in 2068 she should be 74 right? Spike was born in 2044 ne?

    well the year is 2068 and she was "killed" 54 years ago... and the gate accident was in 2014 and she was 20 when she "died"...
