Food Conoisseurs?

    Yet another food question. Probably come up before, but oh well.
    What culture's food do you prefer? Pretty general, but you can be as specific as you want.
    So, favourite ethnic cuisine. Just what is "ethnic" I'll let you decide. Favourite dish, too, if you don't mind.

    My personal favorite ethnic food type is Chinese, but my favorite ethnic food itself is actually Japanese. It's a fried pork dish, I can't remember what it's called, something like Toppenmatsu or something. It's good.

    I'd say Korean, but then again, most of the food served at lil Korean restaurants aren't even Korean! (Things like barbecued chicken, chicken katsu... there's even a Korean restaurant here that claims to serve mandoo, but it's actually Japanese gyoza! Jeez!)

    And so I guess I like Chinese, since at least Chinese food at restaurants seem to be more "ethnic." Filipino food is pretty good since that's homecooking for me, but half of the food is junk. (I guess you could say that about any ethnic cuisine.)

    Funny, I remember an episode of Rosie O' Donnell where she asked Jackie Chan about Chinese food. She rattled off a whole bunch of dishes served in restaurants in the US, and Jackie claimed that they don't eat any of those dishes in China!

    I Lurrrrrrve French food. IT'S SO GOOD! (but so freakin fattening!)
    I also LOVE Chinese food, Japanese food, Korean food-anything ethnic, I like. Mmmm.... Ethnic...

    As a proud chinese i wouldn't look down at my nationality's food... great stuff, I have it all day, all night long so I can't really dislike it. My second would probably be Thai but Japanese food is also edging me to that.

    Mexican all the way. :) There's a little restaurant near my house that has excellent "authentic" quesadillas -- soft cheeses rolled up in a tortilla, then fried. Normally I prefer the usual Tex-Mex stuff, though.

    I LOVE CHINESE FOOD and Mexican food is my second favorite.....i wish there were more places around here that served Chinese food:( so sad so sad

    Chinese all the way although the only really good place around is cost muy dineros. I love their general Tso's chicken. MMMMM......
    So good and spicy sweet.:p :p :p :p
