Art Conventions: Comic party

    Do you think art conventions are only for selling anime or is it a chance to see other artist and meet them, and learn from them?

    This argument arised from the anime Comic PArty, and it really hit me on the spot... I always thought that good manga or doujinshi always sells well... then again the anime showed that if you work hard on an art work or doujinshi, it does not matter if people like it or not, what matters is that you placed enough effort on producing on what you want...

    I've never been to one of those. So I'll just say uhhh...true.
