    I have no idea what that singer was talking about, its definitely not a cool cool summer.

    But on that subject i would like to know what you people like to eat/bake during the summer.

    In my world you cant beat a pint of ben & jerrys, some fudgisicles.

    but you cant believe how delicious (and rewarding if done right) it is to make your own homemade ice cream.

    If anyone has some good recipes that dont include really hi tech machines plese share :)

    We have an ice-cream maker here at home, i still don't know how to use it :sweat2: , but home made ice-cream is the best there is, even flavors that i usually don't eat i love if they come out of that little machine.

    hmm...homemade icecream...*drools*

    but crazy salads are the best - you just throw anything and everything into the bowl! we've had some strange concoctions...which probably explains a lot...:D

    It's all about BBQ's, baby. Grilled Hamburgers, Hickory Smoked Steak, Baked Potatoes...mmmmmmmmm...We're not talking about gas grill crap, we're talkin' charcoal. The way to go...*drools*

    To cool off, I usually eat a bowl of moose tracks, french vanilla, or cookies n' cream Ice cream...gah!

    *eats a large bowl of Ice cream*

    Can't argue with a good BBQ, i love steak, burgers and of course it's not a BBQ without Skewers with little bit's of chicken and vegtables on them. Ohh i fancy one of them right now.
    The only problem with a BBQ is that it's a ***** to clean.

    That’s why you get those nifty George Forman grills. . . e.e Easy cleaning, and drains the fat. . . uh toi toi toi ><;

    BBQ-ing is a must, in the summer. Grilled Salmon, Chicken, Hotdogs and burgers *licks lips* And yes of course there are the fudge sickles, they're so addictive. Or cookie dough ice cream *drools* I drink smoothies in the summer a lot. . .with fruits especially berries.

    But then it's not a proper BBQ, it has to be chared, otherwise it's not a real BBQ. I miss my BBQ :(.

    I believe the song is: 'It's a cruel, cruel summer' :p

    Okay! I used to like making juice popsicles! you add juice to icecube containers, put plastic wrap around the top, and pop in toothpicks in the center of each ice cube square. or, you can buy neat popsicles maker holders. You can also make pudding popsicles. Chocolate is the best. ^__^

    oh and its the time to make strawberry and blueberry jams!!
