Would anyone here have the full cowboy bebop series on Dvd, european region. That they would be willing to sell.

Or even give me a loan of them so I can copy them.

I wouldnt have the first clue as to where to look for them brand new.

Im from Ireland BTW ie. Eirtaku

Any show that good deserves to be bought legit.
Go get the Region 1 releases, well worth the money since they're re-releasing the Perfect Sessions boxset.

all 6 bebop dvds available singly, for €18.53 each (i've ordered from this crowd before, they are australian but my order arrived in under two weeks. and it's pretty damn cheap too). They are Region 4.

the Us version actually works out a fair bit cheaper I think, buy 20 or so euro, but check that out yourself.

Whats the point in buying dvds if you can't play them on a region 2 dvd player?

Theres no discernable difference between hi-q rips and dvds on a computer, I buy dvds for the audio and ability to look damn good on widescreen tvs.

I thought an anime fan with any sense would always go straight for a region free player. No decent anime comes out on R2 so the only option is R1 releases or the HK's.

*cough*ghost in the shell*cough* And eh yeah I'm not made of cash, so buying a bloody region free dvd player is not on the cards. They're usually cheap *** ones too.

Where does GITS come into this???
There are plenty of good region free players.
Some of the companys have the players marked R2 but they'll happily play any DVD. Mine's a good model Pioneer so you certainley cant say it's a cheap piece of crap.
I know there's plenty of **** DVD players out there that always have region free in the ads, wouldn't touch those no name shite piles with a barge pole.

Hmm, you'll have to give me the model number. Might have a look at it in the future.

I have a Sony system, it doesn't play anything other than Region 2 and 0 .

And GITS came out region 0 thats why its valid :) .

What's the model number of your dvd player? There might be a remote hack for it.

Theres no chance of me getting them legit.

The only hope I have is of someone selling them second hand of giving me the DIVX on CD-R's

I have a very slow connection, No chance of downloading them.

Well, if you can get to Trinity College for the anime meetups i'm sure someone could give you a hand there :).

As long as you bring enough to cover media costs, or even enough decent cd-rs to cover the lot, I wouldn't mind, and i'm sure others wouldn't either, especially exiztone :D.
