When I found out that they were releasing the Cowboy Bebop movie in theaters in the US, I was totally psyched. :p Then, I found out that it was only coming out in theaters in NY and LA (both very far from where I live...:( ) But, just last weekend when I went to see Bowling for Columbine (a very good movie by the way) in the local "alternative movie" theater, I saw an advertisement for the Cowboy Bebop movie!:D So, very long story short, for anyone, like me, who had the misconseption that the Cowboy Bebop movie was only playing in LA and NY check your local listings, cause it might be playing near you.

Hey Mchan! I just saw it in our own "alternative theater" here... in Hawaii. Funny thing is, it's the same place went to to see Bowling For Columbine (which my friends and I all agreed is one of those entertaining documentaries that EVERY American should watch). Also, the same theater where we saw Metropolis, but anyway...

I never saw the series, although my roommate has it. The movie was quite well done. (This coming from someone who grades animes very harshly.) Good quality animation, CG-ing, and coloring/lighting, way better than any anime that adheres to just brightly saturated colors all the time. The young girl Edward was pretty annoying--cute/funny just once in a while (probably sounds way better in Japanese). ;) As for the story, I've seen better plots elsewhere, but overall this one was quite decent/good.
