I'm totally unclear whether anyone here has heard of this yet...but a collector's disc of Bebop Sessions has been released as the "Perfect Sessions."

This is pretty much audially remastered episodes on two discs.

Disc 1, which is the "Director's Choice" disc has:
    1. Session 01 - Asteroid Blues
    2. Session 05 - Ballad of Fallen Angels
    3. Session 19 - Wild Horses

    Disc 2, "Fan Favorites" has:
    1. Session 08 - Waltz for Venus
    2. Session 17 - Mushroom Samba
    3. Session 24 - Hard Luck Woman

Unfortunately, there are no extras to speak of on the DVD. Maybe all the Dolby 5.1/DTS tracks took up all the space...but I sincerely doubt that for some reason.

As I already wrote, the perfect sessions are remastered to fit Dolby Digital 5.1 and full cinema DTS. It was freaking awesome. Seriously. No extras, but the DTS makes it sound like you're watching it and TOTALLY immersed in it. Amazing. Has anyone else seen it? Or have heard of it? This probably should be in reviews...but, dangit, it belongs in the Bebop forum as well. ;)

Yeah,I saw it at some stores. Its a good deal for its price.($29.99)You get six of the best episodes and the DTS and 5.1 audio.Im not surprised that there are no extras though.Bandai isnt too good with extras.(In some cases...)

Actualy, it's the Best Sessions, not the Perfect Sessions. Perfect Sessions was a 6 DVD limited edition box set of the whole series, plus a soundtrack, alas you can not get it anymore however. I don't see the point in getting the Best Sessions, as I intend on getting all 6 regular DVDs anyway.

Ooops, I seem to be fulla mistakes lately. I own it and I still misnomered it. Yeah, the best sessions. Granted, it's probably best to own the whole series, but I am a firm believe in the sound too...so the Best Sessions have a plus over the set in its DTS sound. Having that, even just for my favorite episode (Session 24) is majorly worth it.

However, if Bandai ever just releases the whole set in full DTS capability (whether having extras or not) then I'll be sure to buy it. :D

Again, thanks DL for pointing out the mistake.

Yeah, I bought that for myself for X-mas last month. It is cool. It has my two favorite scenes from Ballad of Fallen Angels and Mushroom Samba. I like to watch it late at night or while eating supper. I'm so use to watching it on Adult Swim so it feels kind of funny watching on my own T.V. in my room without commercials.
