And where does this fight take place?

Lets make it fun.

An asteroid field.

 

Yeah, crazy battle as in Millia being destroyed by the Ghost within the 1st 10 seconds.
An ancient Queadluun-Rau isn't gonna be much of a challenge for an X-9.

 

The pilot can make a big difference in a fight. Remember how Millia was shocked and angered at not being able to kill Max? That says a little something about her record. That is, that its flawless.

If you've seen Do You Remember Love, there are some great battles in there.

And as for the Quadlenn-Rau being ancient, well, it certainly toasted plenty of new VFs.

New does not necessarily mean best.

 

But a pilot can only make so much of a difference, there is a point where the technical abilities of fighter will totally overwelm even a superb pilot.

In DYRL she was battling VF-1's, far inferior to the most recent VF's in every aspect.

The only example of any Zentran/Meltran Armour unit battling any valk would be the suits at the beginning of Plus.
And they were fighting VF-11's, which are hardly a step up from the VF-1 anyway.

 

Regardless Millia managed to snipe Kakazi (sp) from a great distance, through the cockpit right between the eyes in DYRL.

That accuracy is incredible.

So the big question is if she'd be able to dodge the Ghost long enough to get a number of shots off, and possibly disable a sensor eye or two.

As for the MPA at the start of Plus, those were refitted renegade power armor (thus it is not factory standard, rather its salvaged goods). MPA is nowhere near as good as FPA.
