Art Creation of New Galleries/NEW RULES! Read before requesting! Gallery Members too!

I believe all of boards.jp would agree that there is quite an extreme amount of amazing talent here in our forum.

Its come to the attention of us mods, that many of you do not have a gallery and hopefully wish to attain one to display your works in a better format.

Originally I had skimmed through the list of members and was waiting for their replies to ask for galleries. Now we have new members, and older galleries that need rules to follow.This is because we find that these galleries could be used for hosting and as free mini websites. So setting up good criteria/rules to follow is essential! SaberJ2X and I discussed this, and we came up with a set of rules for requesting galleries and maintaining your present galleries. Here goes:


1 be in b.jp for more than a month or have AT LEAST 50~75 unspammed posts.
2 no stick figures lol, n00b anime yeah (have to love Saber's choice of words :anime: )
3 once you have a gallery, you have to continue posting in M2A
4 if inactive for 5 months, YOUR gallery WILL be deleted.(I believe this is connected to number 3 rule. Just be a frequent/contributing member of mangatoanime!)
5 - in your galleries, please present a percentage art done by you DRAWN AND/OR CG not a bunch of sigs or a photoshop copy/paste collection
6 you have the privilege of using ONLY 1 sig for banner purposes. ..remember, the gallery isn't your personal website for hosting.

so those are the rules for now, if a member is not or does not adhere to these rules/criteria within a month, it will result in the specific gallery to be frozen. If matter is not cleared up, the gallery will be deleted.


as well, please refrain from coming to the site, and asking for a gallery on your first or under 10 posts. It looks very bad. Thank you.

Everyone up til now who requested a gallery now has one. Simply visit the gallery while logged in to your M2A account, and look for the album with your name in it. You will have buttons with which to administer your account and settings.

Feel free to modify it to your liking - my album titling and descriptors were just quick creations to amuse myself during creation. Everyone who gets an album has received this treatment from me in the past, so you're not alone.

 

Thank you so much BMS, I hope everyone who has posted a significant amount of artwork sees this thread as well(you know who you are) its easier to view your lovely works through a gallery option Us mods will keep you updated about galleries and a possible subgalleries section here in this forum.
