    I have a question what was the last movie you saw that made you cry. Whether it would be so sad, or it really touched your heart, just share it and say if you really enjoyed it.

    I saw a rather, err, morbid (?) movie yesterday. Called 'The Unsaid'. I don't know how well-known it is, coz it's apparently a bit old. I wouldnt think so, apart from some of the style. This is kinda a spoiler... It has a lot of suicide and homocide, and the best character in it (on my opinion) killed himself at the beginning. Well, when I went to the specific station. It was soooo sad, and he was such a happy guy. He seemed to be happy enough, until he gassed himself with carbon-minoxide in the car in a garage while his family was away. I cried.. and so did his movie family. Oh I'm such a sentimentalist :sweat:

    Well, I hardly go to the movies, latest one was SpiderMan 2.. I don't think I cried in that, but I definitely cried when I saw 'The Passion'. I mean, that struck me very emotionally since religion is something important in my life. The crying was more a silent stream.. I don't think I've ever heard anyone wail while in the theatre... :sweat: but I did hear some lady went crazy and threw a 2 litre cup of pop at Satan on screen.. :bleed2:

    This got me a bit teary-eyed, because it was just too ****ing depressing. It was the The Butterfly Effect, namely with the fact that I watched the original ending. For those of you who don't know and have seen the movie and don't mind it getting ruined:

    [SPOILERS]Pretty much, to make everything better, he uses a home-movie to go back (much like he did in the theatrical ending I understand, I didn't see that one), but instead he goes back to the time of his birth. And while in his mother's womb he actually moves to strangle himself with the umbilical cord, killing himself, so he was really never born. The girl, her brother and his friend never met him. The brother grew up fine, the girl grows up and gets happily married (they both grew up with the mother and I think it was the mother's new husband). I don't remember what happens to the best friend, but everyone's really better off. Also I think it fits better with the movie, as, after all, he was never meant to be.[/SPOILERS]

    Another depressing movie, namely because of the ending, was definitely Requiem For A Dream.

    [SPOILERS]From what I remember... the main character (Jared Leto) winds up in prison and has to get his arm amputated(sp) because it got infected from shooting up in the same arm. His best friend (Marlon Waynes, I think?) winds up in a prison that is prodominantly, if not entirely, whites (and racists to boot). The mother ends up addicted and hooked to speed. The girlfriend of Jared's character ends up selling herself to gang-bangs (as in sex, yes) for money/drugs/etc. That was just ****ing depressing.[/SPOILERS]

    Donnie Darko was pretty sad too.

    [SPOILERS]Donnie's girl dies. Donnie's mother dies. Donnie's sister dies. The latter two in a plane, and somehow the plane engine fell and somehow traveled back through time to kill Donnie. Though, at this point, the girl, mother and sister are alive again! But... Donnie's dead. It was... confusing. And the song "Mad World" by Gary Jules (covered from Tears For Fears) was just depressing. The song alone makes me sad.[/SPOILERS]

    The last movie that really made me cry was Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. The story was amazing and the music just drilled right through me.

    The ending of A.I. made me sad, but not to the point of tears. I usually try to fight off tears, but for A.I. I tried to cry, but it wasn't enough. And I think I also got halfway to crying when Nemo got reunited with his dad in Finding Nemo.

    I can't particularly say I remember crying during a movie showing, mostly because it takes quite a lot to make me cry when it comes to those types of situations (movies, books, television, etc.) unless I'm incredibly familiar with the characters (such as in Inuyasha), and the two hour timespan a movie provides doesn't give you too much insight. I remember shedding a tear at My Dog Skip when I was nine or ten, but I hardly think that qualifies.

    Just movies? Hmm, It's hard to say, I don't remember crying at any, but The Last Samurai was a very good movie, good enough to make it's way into my favorites. Now I just need to buy a copy of it and watch it several more times.

    If you're going for the last audio/visual experience to make me cry, then the answer is Saber Marionette J, the greatest masterpiece of all mankind. I still cry at the end of the series.

    Another really good movie was Braveheart. It's actually very similar to The Last Samurai. It's just a change of venue. One happens in Japan, the other happens in Britain.

    Ah man, The Last Samurai...I cried so hard for so long at the end. I ended up having to turn away, and think of something funny to make myself laugh, because I was recieving some..rather oddly weird looks from many people from being just a *tad* bit too loud. :sweat: Then of course, they all had to look at me again for laughing at an inappropriate time... :rolleyes:

    Life Is Beautiful just punched me in the gut at the end. I cried so much. XD (Great movie, by the way.) Lately I cry when watching just about anything slightly sentimental (heaven help me, I think I cried during a sitcom), but movies... yeah.

    Has anyone ever seen I Love You, I Love You Not? I don't care that it wasn't as good as the play it's based on, but dude. I cried no less than five times. XD I'm an idiot. Also, I cried during Contact, Moulin Rouge (even though somebody kept telling me the end EVERY TIME I BROUGHT THE MOVIE UP, saying I hadn't seen it!), Brokedown Palace (I would've done more than just shed tears if one of my classmates hadn't made a stupid remark), The Lion King (yes, even now after all these years...)...

    The list goes on. I shall spare thee all. ^^;;
