I love this game!!! And I'm definitely looking forward to buying DDR MAXX. Is anyone else into DDR? If so, do you have any favorite songs/mixes? I like Look To the Sky, Dive, and Can't Stop Falling in Love to name the first that come to my head.

Para Para Paradise is also really fun . . . just think DDR with your hands. I think it's a lot easier too, since there's no balance and hand/foot coordination.

ArchAngel Amada is the resident DDR Sensei here. I don't play, but I love Dam Diriam (thanks AAA!), Supergirl (Euromix), and Freckles (Though it's only sharing the same beat as Kenshin's song....but twice as fast.)

I personally love that one interactive music maker game where you have to swing your arms over and under these lighted tubey things. That's a fun game when you play with friends cuz you can purposely mess 'em up. Well, that and beatmania 4th. Good stuff.

Those are some good songs, too - I've only played Freckles once though, and it was also my first time on a 6th mix machine so I was just concentrating on trying to pass the darn song on heavy . . . and halfway through, I realized, "Hey, this is the first opening to Rurouni Kenshin!!!!"

What exactly are the beatmania games like? I've never played them before.

Beatmania is the DJ games. It's pretty hectic, and I'm not good, but it's fun to play. I enjoy trying paranoia on 4th...mainly because you can keep up with the notes, but my hands can't but it sounds moderatly alright even if you mess up a bit. ;)

    Bemani rules. God bless Konami.

    My fave songs are

Orion.78 (AM Euro and Civilization mixes)
    Healing Vision
    Era [Nostalmix]
    Burning Heat [3 Option Mix]
Boom Boom Dollar (Normal and KOG3)
    .59
    20, November
    The Whistle Song
    Rythm And Police

Ah, hell...I love the majority of them!

Beatmania's great. We only had 1st mix, tho, and it got shipped up to the arcade in Mass. DAMN >.<

Para Para is...wierd. Thankfully, that was shipped up to the arcade in Mass, too.

Izzy, that game is Dance Freex (if korean) or Dance Maniax (japanese) It is great! Try it on doubles ~_^=

Drum Mania is good clean fun. It's got a lot of 80's rock songs. Yah, Sweeto!

I wish we had more games...all we have now is a Dance Freex, a DDR 5ht, a DDRMAXX2, and a Drum Mania (Precussion Freex) 3rd...

I must admit, I like DDR. My wife and I went out and bought a PSX just for this game.

I would buy any Bemani game if it was released on the X-Box with custom soundtrack support. That would be awesome.

At least X-boxers get Shenmu 2.

I just wish I could get out to the arcades more around my area. There's nothing like playing on the machine compared to my soft pad at home >.<
