    Its not easy living in a city as rough as Grant City. And its not easy either, to top the first installment of Dead to Rights.
    Seems that the first Dead to Rights was such a big hit among the people who played it, that they had to make a "sequel-prequel". Im not ruining the story for you, and Im not telling you to go out and buy the game if you want to know.

    Story: As far as the story goes, Im not as impressed as I was with the first one. Its less suspense, and more "Making Jack Slate look like a bada**". Here he is, busting through a nightclub wall in the first level already.

    Gameplay: I wasn't really impressed. Whatever way you look at it, its the Dead to Rights gameplay, with about 2 or three extra moves.
    Then you have the concept of solving poor thought up ways to unlock doors (And every time you do, there's always about three guys waiting to come out when you unlock it). And then its just, "shoot, because no one will answer questions for you".

    Graphics: I can say a lot about the cinematic graphics. They are very well near Chaos Theory's. And the gameplay ones...well, they're good. They're not bad either.

    Sound: Again, the cinematic sound is perfect. But the gameplay sound...Jacks voice reminds me of Duke Nukem in Time to Kill. Voices are so "blargh", but the rest...uhm...gunshots, bone cracking...and those in slow motion are great.

    kaiyon gives Dead to Rights II a 7 out of 10

    Rent it->Use the cheat->Beat it->Get another game..all in less than a day.

    Never liked the Death to rights series. It's pretty much the same as GTA but the only difference is that GTA kicks it's butt. Big time.

    The first one really surpasses this by far they took all the good out of the first one then put some monkeys on the second and here you go you got some good and you got some dooky :p well this game gets a five out ten in my book.

    Reason for low score.

    There was more depth to the first one fist fights were brutal and took stragedy and voice acting was great im talking about the first one. The second just dissapoints me so much. I could of dealt with the shoot outs...but they just messed up the hand to hand fighting parts. thats what i loved the most of the dead to right series but they messed up on this...but they did fairly well on the disarming technics they look more fluent but thats all. I say just rent the game its good for that much enjoyment.

    I enjoyed the first Dead to Rights. I especially liked playing with the dog, Shadow. The gameplay is okay in my opinion, but I guess it could have been a little better. When i do rent the second one, I probably will beat it the first day, but it will be worth it. Overall, I'd say Dead to Rights is a good enstallment.

    I don't like it. You go to one gang that calls you a "cabron" like a million times, just to catch a guy, question him, and move on to the next. At least that what i went through for the first three levels till i just gave up on repetitiveness and gave the game back. But i sure love the first one though!
