    Hehe, sorry to disappoint you but it really is not true, there is not an anime for Death Note yet. This scene is really from Fullmetal Panic! The Second Raid. Though I haven't watched this anime I found an article with the same title in the net. I think there is too much coincidence. Maybe a little hint that we might see it soon?

    OMG! I could of swear that this guy on a bycicle is "L", and the girl with the ponytalis is Misa. Are yoy sure that its not a fan's drawing?

    Perhaps the animators are fans? Or maybe the same animators are going to work on a Death note anime after this? Maybe they're trying to hint at it? o_O

    It seems to be the real thing. I already checked a chinese forum and they say the same.

    Also near the window is Light (or Raito), and his father! ^ ^
    No confirmed plans for a Death Note anime yet. Sadly, was a rumor. TT_TT
    I would love to see a Death Note anime in that art style as that sceen.

    Apparently to several Livejournal boards regarding Death Note anime, there are currently no plans of turning it into an full pledge tv series but probably a OAV series. But who knows, people change :)
