Creative Writing Describe a shoe. [Writing Game]

This is a writing excercise to show off your way with words. Take a shoe and describe it to us, in detail. ;3

Detail does not mean something like this: It was black and dirty.

Try this: 'Scuffed at the heel, with scratches that tendriled out from the hard rubber bottom, the shoe had a dusty complexion; Dark and slightly hidden behind a caked on layer of filth.'

I do like Writing Challenges.

Bought for comfort but that is not rightly so. The heel has become slight worn due to being as heavy as a rock. It tortures ten prisoners for over eight hours a day for five days a week. Those imprisoned can expect no damp cell or no light for it can’t escape the light storm clouds.

I hate my work shoes. Steel-toe. They just made it mandatory in like June. I kid you not someone lost a toe.
