Did anybody notice something on the "Simpsons" last night......

Hey, guys, did anybody watch the Simpsons last night?

Anybody else notice that, for the intro, they had all the family dressed like classic anime characters? Bart was Astro boy, if I remember right.

And guess who Marge was? Princess/Jun!!!! With the helmet and the skirt and wings and the whole bit!!

Seems like we're not the only ones who are into this stuff!!!!!

Am I the only one that resents the idea that Jun's apperance is a "reference that only Comic Book Guy would understand"?? Geez!!!

 

Aah, that's so amazing! i now respect the simpson more, ha. i remember an episode they did a couple of years ago and it talked about anime a bit. but i like this bit better because they actually have known anime characters like Sailormoon Thanks Devo for pointing that out, because i missed that show. and thanks Cloud for the link.

 

:anime: Heh, i'm glad I dropped by here and saw that. Maggie and Lisa look comic (Bart looks a bit spazed sitting there on the bench). I haven't watched the Simpsons for a long time, but i'll have to keep an eye out for that. Thanks DevoVamp for pointing that out. Cloud, thanks to you too for the web page.
