FLCL Did anyone watch FLCL?

    I would like to know if anyone got a chance to watch FLCL ("Fooly Cooly", I think that's how it's spelled. If you have, tell me what you think of it. I would like to check it out, but it takes long to download an episode so I want to know if it's worth the time.

    FLCL

    flcl can b pronouced furi kuri or fooly cooly. either way it means the same thing. but anywayz, its a great anime and definatly worth the time. watch it.

    Oh no there's nobody here who's seen FLCL. Nobody at all.

    We had a FLCL forum for a while, but it was mainly a bed for discussion about the Pillows and a few of us who are raving lunatics about the series. Yes, I highly recommend it. Go and find somewhere to rent it from or something.. just watch it! You will be converted too! Buahahahahhaahhahaah!!!!!

    To be utterly simplistic...it's about a boy growing up. To be more specific, it's about a boy going through (let's just call it this...) "maturity" as a whole bunch of aliens pretty much invade his hometown. Oh, and, he's two (almost three) timing ladies...loud guitars, good music, wierd japanese-only jokes, baseball, bad guys that looks like hands, vespas, an unseen brother, and two cats. Oh, and Canti.

    And that, is FLCL.


    Edit/PS: By the by, I *really* miss that FLCL forum. I liked it in there. Only so many people, and it was always discussive.

    FLCL(say furi kuri) is my favourite anime off all time, ever, bar none. Ever. It just plain rocks. Words can't describe how much it rocks, so I won't waste my time trying. Suffice to say, watch it or you're a sucker.

    i've got the 1st volume of it, and it's definitly something different.
    i mainly got it 'cause it was done by production IG. *grins guiltily*.
    when i can afford it, i'll get more.:D . i must say, the giant iron is very strange...:p

    one more dvd to go...comes with a box(special edition does anyways) for the other dvd's to sit in.
    synch point is crap...i hope they don't do any other shows...or else we'll never see any anime from them...

    this is how i described it.
    if evangelion was crack. flcl was crack, heroin, pcp, and marajuna all mixed in one package. and it was great.

    I rather agree, after a fashion. Had they not done the PREVIOUS series they did (Angel...something...I forgot) they would have enough production capital to actually make all of FLCL sometime at the beginning of this year. However, I hope the team that DOES FLCL's english subbing stays on for more projects (or goes on to another company). I like them, they change what some characters actually say on the screen to fit what us Americans would find fitting. Like that part about Crystal Pepsi.

    And FLCL isn't on crack and all the other stuff you named. It's a kid going through puberty. It's probably worse. ^_^
