CLAMP Works Did you notice...

    did you notice that CLAMP manga leaves you wanting more?
    it has in the 2 seris i have read.
    anybody else notice this?
    just a question and people can put why they think so.

    Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. The Chobits series left me quite content, but Clover was confusing. I wanted to know alot more about the characters and their lives. :catgirl:

    yeah.
    it depends on the seris.
    i agree the clover seris left me wanting more.
    know that i think about it Chobbits ended quite good.

    I know. In ccs the ending was wrapped up well but I didn't want it to end.

    When you really like a manga or anime you never really want it to end because you want new adventures with you fav. characters. Personally I wish there was a different ending to X/1999. Chobits left me content but I wanted to know how Hideki's and Chii's life went after the whole someone just for me thing. And also did Hideki keep Sumomo(Plum) and Kotoko? I know the anime and manga end with different things but I'm talking about the manga. I havent finished Angelic Layer but I cant wait! :catgirl:

    Wish ended on a good .. semi-'I'm okay with it note' but.. perhaps wanting more out of it all. There's a few stories in Wish that can be extended more so. But its not necessarily a CLAMP feature, many stories leave you wanting more or another ending.

    edit: I just finished the CCS manga, and yes it leaves me.. wanting more.. but maybe wanting full colourful layouts of lots of scenes on my walls..

    You know what? It's true. XD When I saw MKR I was left wanting more, but then when I read the manga I was all, "What!? That's... That's IT!?" The story in the manga was so much more compact and just... wow. XD (Note: I'm talking about MKR and not MKR2, in both its anime and manga incarnations.)

    Clover definitely left me whining for more (and more pretty art...).

    But see, those are the only two manga series I've actually FINISHED reading, so... I'll... shut up. ^^;

    Yeah I get the same feelings kinda sometimes but with all kinds of series. I really wanted Angelic Layer to keep going. I wouldn't know how they'd continue it but I really wanted more. In Wish I really wanted to know how the young Shuichirou and Kohaku...how their lives unfolded after getting clear what their wishes were. I mean it was a good ending but it did left me wanting more.

    ^_^ X/1999 isn't over yet, they've only done 1-18 of the volumes, and there's 2 (3) more coming out. They have taken an extended break though.. :sad: ever since August 2003. :anger2: :dizzy2: :eek: :( :mad: :sad:
