Recreation Do you burn?

I want to know if you guys burn in the sun or not. I only burn on my neck and ears. Everywhere else is all tan!! how about you people?

 

i burned once in my life, when i was like 10 or younger and visiting my aunt in san francisco. was around the shoulders, bloody hurt

but normally I just ran very easily, and I just plain don't like being outside

 

I participated in a cyclist race down in mexico one hot, september day three years ago and forgot the sunscreen. "Whats the worst that could happen" I though, "I'll just be out for five hours." Whooo-Wee did I cook. To make it worse, I was wearing a tight jersey that left one hell of a sunburn line across my arm. That thing was a straight line, my friends called it a "porno tan" and it still is slightly visible after all this time.

After that, I take good care of my arms. No more exposure. Surprizingly, my legs nor my face ever get burnt up or anything. So I guess the arms are all.

I never burn exept for once... last yaer when I was 11 I went to the beach and i started to peel on my nose...

 

i burn just about ne where on my body that isnt tanned and is exposed to the sun for too long(speaking of which, i burned just the other day...on my shoulders my neck and on my ears)...but most of the time i'll burn and then after it peels it leaves a tan

 

I am mostly the indoor/nocturnal type of person, so I tend to avoid the sun. This is, at least in part, self-preservation. I never tan, and am slightly jealous of those people who can. The closest I can ever say I've come is freckles, and they really don't count.

When I have to spend extended periods of time out in the sun I slather my exposed skin with sunscreen, focusing particularly on my ears, neck, and nose. I also try to wear a hat, long pants, and an overshirt that covers my arms while still staying relatively cool.

I don't tan at all but when I'm swimming outside or just sitting in the sun without a shirt I easily get burned on the shoulders

 

I never got burn, only tan. Lucky me.

 

^.^ Well- thanks to Suncream, I don't burn often. But, somehow, even though I'm a quarter Native American, my sister got all of the tanning blood or something, and I got the white-as-a-ghost Englishman blood.

I'm too mixed up- >.< But I tan after burning. And I burn a bit, if I don't feel like putting suncream on.

 

I've been burned twice in my life once in the back of my kness in fourth grade but we'd spent the whole school day at the beach. Then again on my shoulders in eight grade once again we'd spent the whole day out but this time it was at the park. Now when someone tells me black people can't get sun burn I just look at them and think yeah right.

 

i only tan i never burn...well perhaps a little red on my shoulders but no pain adn no flaky skin either...but i heard it hurts alot to burn...

That should explain everything. If I go outside, I burn in an instant. I have to wear sunscreen all the time. I wear it even in winter! ^_^

MY SHOULDERS, i have a blistering sunburn on them right now, damn saltwater.

 

I burn like a snowball in hell. And I'm going to spain on sunday. And there's a heat wave. Hurray.

 

heh...im lucky...im naturally tan and i dont burn either ^_^x;;;

 

no i've never been sunburned in my life i've only gotten darker by sitting out side in the sun

 

Not just sunburn.... I just plain don't burn. The only burn I've ever had was when I snuck up on my dad while he was using his small blowtorch.....I startled him and he put the nozzle nearly on my arm when he turned around........that was un-fun.
