    If you have The Sims Online, I'm looking for people who would like to start an anime lot and be my roommates. It would be more of an offbeat lot... an anime club, selling anime clothing when Maxis releases the clothing racks, and what-not.

    Yup. The Sims Online is out! :D It's a great game. I just wish I could find some anime fans on there that wanna start a lot...

    personally, i would rather share my lot with someone i know. don't want to share my simmy with just anyone ya know. *^-^*

    Isn't there a monthly cost, ala Everquest and games of that ilk?

    If so, Im outta luck.

    If not, I just may end up buying this game.

    9 dollar or so yeah. if you play alot, tis kinda worth it...i've been busy..am glad the first month was free...lol

    Oh well... The Sims Online is just starting up anyway, so maybe I'll run into some anime fans who want to start a lot when more people get The Sims Online. :(
    It's really hard to find anime fans on The Sims Online...

    that's because whne you get anime fans into a nonanime area, they stand out like freaks...
    and i just don't trust ppl online really...not in that game yet...too many annoying children or 50 year olds.

    i'm in calvin's creek, test center, and i think jolly pines...

    Well, I guess I'm a freak then... and proud of it!
    Anyway, what do you mean you don't trust people? What's not to trust? You're just giving anime fans a home on your lot... They can't steal from you, you're not giving them your Sim. You're simply giving housing to other anime fans. (If I stand out like a freak, then fine! I stand out like a freak! I don't care! And you know... true anime fans who want to start a lot wouldn't care either. What are people gonna say? "Hey you freak! You like anime!" ?)
    And as for the 50-year olds and annoying kids, I have plenty of friends who are NOT annoying nor are 50-year olds. You gotta have a better attitude towards the game!
    I'm sorry if I got a little mad here... I guess I'm a little edgy when it comes to a game I helped form as a Beta Tester. I just don't like people dissing this game. It's a masterpiece of work that gets better with every new patch. I'm sorry.

    dude, the beta testers were the worst. i've beta tested other things before, and i'm very positive the boards aren't for posting crap like "it says i don't have to pay to play this when it comes out." i simply like avoid the headache of dealing with morons. and if being choosy about who you want as a housemate is a crime, whatever. that's the way i am. i've been playing tso since november. i've come to realize that what i want in a house is shared by select few. and well, i'm gonna find those that i choose to share my lot.
    simply stated, it's a great game, and i know loads of ppl love it, anime fans included(i think you tried making an anime club once before in the beta...remember seeing something once). it's just, i've seen too many morons and ppl that seemed ok until you talked to them long enough, to want to just go, "hey, wanna be a roomie?"

    I'm sorry, but I guess we see it two very different ways. I loved being a Beta Tester for TSO. Yes, maybe people where confused about payment... but what the heck do you expect? C'mon! Some people have never played on online game, nor have had to pay or beta tested something.
    As for this roommate junk... of course I don't walk up to someone and go "Wanna be a roommate?". For cryin' out loud. I'm usually friends with the person first. But I'm not extremly picky. It's just me. I have no friends off of TSO or a chat room, so I take what I get. I'm sorry. That's the way I am.
    You really don't seem to have a very good attitude towards TSO. Infact, your attitude is very sour...
    Forget it. I got another lot anyway. I didn't think starting a lot for anime fans would be such a freakin' headache! Jeez! *Sigh*

    agreed. the beta test was a good time. had its share of ups and downs, but i was glad to be in on the game early. it's a lot of fun.

    on the roommate front, i find the best way to get one is to tell a person they should come live with you and that they can steal all of your stuff when your not there. people like that.

    i'm just saying how i pick ppl to share a lot with. not looking for you to get all pissy or anything. see, i don't like being around certain ppl, in chatrooms(such as tso) or in real life. i really enjoyed playing tso. i loved beta testing any game that i've done so far. tho, being around certain ppl will of course, make any game less enjoyable for any person. that's my preference. geez
