I've already watched all of the Fruits Basket episodes and the last one kept me wondering and hanging still. Does Kyou ever beat Yuki? Isn't there supposed to be more members? What about Hatsuharu, Hatori and everybody else? What happens to them? Do you think there should bea sequel to Fruits Basket or even a movie?

Actually, as far as I can tell you have story points that the anime covers as far as 7 or 8 volumes into the manga, but Beatriz4's statement is still essentially true. The manga is a continuation of the Fruits Basket story, or rather, the anime only takes part of the manga story and animates it.

The first volume of the manga has been released by Tokyopop, and subsequent volumes should be released every couple of months (I'm not entirely certain on the publication schedule). Even though the anime and manga begin in more or less the same place, even from the very start there are elements of the manga that were never animated, so you will be getting more to the story right from the start.

As far as I know, the manga is still being released in Japan, which means that it's rather doubtful that anything has been resolved as far as the major questions of the story are concerned. I can tell you that you do meet the rest of the Juunishi members, but that's about it. I haven't had the time (or patience, unfortunately) to read my Japanese volumes of manga. However, there are members here who have read much further than I have, and I'm sure they would be willing to answer any other questions that you have.

I think they should make more anime, but I don't know if they will. Maybe if we beg them they will!

The second book of the manga comes out in April.

From what I've seen from my anime dvds it seems they may not really continue. If they do it may be difficult because where they end is wat they think will happen. And ur right there are only parts of the manga animated. Some of the episodes have parts of the manga deleted. Like Tohru has a hat thats very close and special to her but they delete that out because it's somewhat of a side story that would take lots of explaining. But the creator of fruist basket anime episodes says he is unsure whether or not to continue and it even says so in his interview on one of the dvds. I'd love for them to continue. I want to see many things that they don't have animated. ah well the manga in english is out, it came out last tuesday. hehehehe. but i already have 12 volumes of it in japanese. :anime:
