Kenji's name is rather unique. his fathers name (Himura Kenshin) means Peony Village *the kanji for peony is special and only means that. Kenshin means Heart of the Sword. so literally. Hi - Peony Mura - Village Ken - Sword Shin - Heart. Kenji's names is Hi - Peony Mura - village Ken - sword ji - path or road. so his name means of the path of the sword, something more poetic would be the swordsmens path.

Misao's names doesnt really make all that much sense

Maki - roll *as in roll sushi* machi - village and Misao means virginity.

and Aoshi's is

Shi - four no - is no...not like our no but a particle mori - forest Ao means deep blue a shi is purple

just a bit of random translation there...

 

yea and kaoru means scent and kamiya means flower. :sweat2:

Actually, I think "shi" can also mean "death," right? Though it would probably depend on the kanji being used.

 

it can, with the right Kanji, but the kanji used in his name means four.

 

Kenji is just a minature Kenshin. It's true even the creator of RK said that.

He's got all the pasion that Kenshin has, as Yahiko said in the Ova 2. Even that God speed, argh. But Yahiko still beat him with the Sakabatou that Kenshin gave him.
