Does anyone here love playing RPG's or anime adventure games like Final Fantasy?

I have Grandia, Grandia 2, FFVII, FFVIII, Suikoden 1 and 2, Breath Of Fire IV, Zelda 64, Alundra 1 and 2, The Legend Of Dragoon and Pokemon Blue And Red in my collection.

I think the Grandia games are ACE and The BEST RPG's IN THE WORLD!^_^

What does everybody else think and what do they play?

I thought Grandia 2 was pretty dull.
I prefer the good old Shining Force games on the Mega Drive and Panzer Dragoon Saga on the Saturn.

Shenmue is probably the greatest RPG ever though.

Lets see..alot of great RPG's being mentioned here, I'm surprised you like suikoden, most people never heard of it, but IMO its one of if not THE best RPG series ever. Incidently Suikoden 3 has been announced for the PS2, go to www.ign.com to find out info about it. Shining Force was cool, did you play SF3 on the saturn? And Panzer Dragoon Saga is simply stunning. I also Thought that Soliel on the Megadrive was cool, kicked Zelda's ass

As for the grandia series, well I have mixed feelings about it...I bought the 1st one and did not like it very much, but then I got the second one and thought it was excellent, one of the best RPG's I've ever played.

I'm currently playing trough Skies of Arcadia on the Dreamcast so when I'm finished I'll tell you what I think. Wild Arms surprisingly is actually quite good, especially for an early PSX game. At 1st I was put off but as soon as I got into it it turned out to be cool. And well we all know that FF7 is the best FF ever and one of the best RPG's ever. I personally did not like FF8 very much...but FF9 was great.

Any of you ever played Phantasy star Online? (or any of the other cool Phantasy stars for that matter?). Its really cool.

Shenmue is great but its not exactly an RPG....its more of an experiance, in a way as a game it was not that great, but as an interactive experiance it is unrivaled, but kind of boring sometimes, which was probably its only real fault.

Oh yeah I forgot chrono trigger, that was cool!!

hmm..your list seems a tad SNES orientated if you ask me...did you just not bother playing RPGS after the SNES? If so pitty..but Zelda is good, and the FF's are usually good.

Thanks to the wonder that is emulation I've finally been able to play all of those famous SNES RPG's, so far Chrono Trigger's been the highlight but some of the FF games are damn good.

Shenmue was more of an RPG than any game that came before it, think about it Role Playing Game,
in Shenmue you become Ryo, you live his life.

Its only a boring game if you don't take full advantage of your surroundings,
theres plenty of varied things to do.

Word is Shenmue 2 comes on 7 discs, it looks even more anazing than the original.

Shining Force 3 was great but it suked that the other 2 parts didn't get an english translation

Well I'm good at MAX, I have not used it in ages though...I've never built anything anime...but I built a cool anime styled mech before, I'm pretty good, especially for someone who's never done a course in MAX, my brother did a course and showed me a few things, he mastered Character Studio by himself and is now a 3D animator

Yeah, I'm a big video game and anime junkie

Oh and I can use Photoshop too, and I'm learning HTML and Flash at the moment, I have premiere but I never bothered learning how to use it

Oh and Secret of Mana was cool, and chrono trigger is without a doubt the best SNES RPG.
