Japanese does anyone know where to find japanese sailor uniforms, hakama's or gi's?

i've been looking everywhere! i found a few, but they weren't the kind i was looking for. any pointers?

 

I was also looking for uniforms and those kinds of things for a while. I found that thrift stores and second hand shops are a good place to look. My friend got a exact look alike of the battle royale costume. Its just a suggestion though.

 

i need to find a white gi....and i have no idea where to look...is it ok if i ask for help too?

well, if you know anyone who is in karate i imagine you could ask them to get you one. Or if your lucky theyll have them at a thrit store. If you really need one you could always make one. Its pretty easy with the right fabric.

Theres the alternative to join karate and get one then quit..... i dunno exactly.
Ill search around to see if I could find somewhere.

 

hmmmmmmmm well it depends on what your looking for...a gi is a karate uniform top while hakama are swordsmen's split skirt trousers...traditionally the top worn with hakama is a kimono, then the bottom his hiked up between the legs and the hakama are put on over that...

 

^_^' heh heh heh... i think thrift stores are iligal where i live... but i found a few sailor uniforms online at jlist! they weren't exactly what i was looking for, but aulterations can always be made! but the top alone is $150, and the skirt is $200. they're REALLY expensive. if anyone wants the specific website, just ask and i'll go find it again! it's no problem! but thank you for all of your suggestions!
