Movies Dolemite

:anime: Who has seen Dolemite? It was the "black humor" movie a few decades ago, starring Rudy Ray Moore (a.k.a. The Godfather of Rap, although I think of him as more of a comedian/actor/poet).

You see, this is the kind of movie that's ghetto cool. It's cool cuz of the cheap effects, "bad acting," blaxploitation themes, and dark lighting. I mean, some of the love scenes are naturally censored cuz everything is so dark! (Dolemite's skin, the lighting conditions, etc.) And where else can you have fights with delayed timing (late reactions), boom-microphones "accidentally" showing at the edge of the screen, a bum called "Creeper" (a.k.a. The Hamburger Pimp), and of course Dolemite--the vengeful pimp with kungfu prostitutes! It's a movie for laughs, and when it first came out in theaters back in the days, it really was big cuz it was so different. There are also some sequels, like Dolemite: The Human Tornado.
