Anime Downloading Anime

    As I am only really getting started with my obsession with Manga and Anime I have never downloaded any Anime from the Net.

    I was just wondering what were the best places to download Anime from and what I needed to download and play the Anime.

    Any tips?

    It's quite simple...the one and only true place is IRC ....go to www.mirc.com and download mirc...a good anime server is aniverse ( u type /server irc.aniverse.net)

    ...if u feel like it come to my channel, #animeYTK ;)

    ...u can also get a lot on dalnet...where ofcourse #manga is a good start =)

    complete agreement there. Of course, for complete non propellorheads, Gnutella is the way to go, try LimeWire. BearShare is ok if you can stand adware, rumoured to be spyware.

    For security reasons (and just to ruin my fun) I can't get onto IRC in work. Nor can I use Gnutella. Are there any websites I can download from?

    It has been getting harder and harder to do so lately, with FreeDrive changing it's share system and MySpace just being a pain in the ass, many can't cough up reliable online presence of which anime eats up...Still, if you really want to try...

    an online directory of anime episode downloads...
