    Muwahahahahahaaha :p beware I am going to be driving!!!!

    I was wondering if anyone else is going to start their driving lesson or is already driving. Chould you give me any tips? :sweat:

    Excellent... It's always nice to get a very important skill under your belt. Good luck with it! Don't do what they do with cars in Grand theft auto :p

    hehe, there was this time when i was playing hide and seek IN CARS!!! i was supposed to hide from my friend's car, i barely knew how to drive, ok now, ,when my friend found me i though it would be a good idea to run away, and bang!!!!! you can picture the rest, so my advice here is, always look back when you are driving backwards:D

    That's a pretty, uhm, unintelligent thing to do with a vehicle. Quisty, the only thing you really need to worry about while driving is developing the discipline to keep your mind and eyes on the road, even if you're on the phone or talking with your passengers. It's surprising how many people not only cannot do that, but don't seem to think that it matters if they're swerving all over the road whenever they try to do something other than concentrate on driving.

    I wish you good luck with this Quisty. I got my beginners license a while ago, and have unfortunately not been able to get my full because our car is a piece of ****. :) Anywho, I'm planning on making an appt. to get that done sometime in August, before University comes upon me. Tips : Use your mirrors. For gods sake, use your mirrors. Funny story : my mother only takes me out to practice driving when she's had a few glasses of wine. :D I'm not that bad....I'm just....not that good yet....

    Yeah, I got some advice (Ha ha ha, I'm 15 and I know how to drive!)
    DON'T GET ****ING PARINOID ON THE ROAD.
    Never drive if you feel emotionally unstable, if you're angry or really depressed, or if you're in a murderous rage. ^^;;
    Always wear yer seatbelt.
    Never drive fast on speed bumps.
    Never drink grade juice in a car if you're wearing a white shirt.
    Don't try to light a cigarette while drving.
    DON'T DRAG RACE, OR I'LL KILL YOU. ^^;;
    Don't soup up yer car.
    Don't eat while you're driving.

    I'm freakin' 17 and I still don't have my friggin' driver's permit!! My mom and dad need to let me go!!
    I wish you best of luck Quistis!! **I know you'll do great!**

    I do remember one time I was practicing driving with my sis and it was my turn. We were driving in a park where we just drive around in circles and some cars will come by and stuff. Wwell, when it was my turn, I did everything I should have done...I put the car in reverse and forgot it was in reverse. So I pressed on the gas and the car flew back really fast. I didn't wreck the car or anything but it was so funny. I was so embarrassed.

    I started driving to. And it's only hard if you have to learn a straight drive. other wise it's such a breeze.

    on another note. I FINALLY remember my password. lol, I bet no one remembers me.

    Still not passed mines yet due to job eating up to much time... yet heres some things my driving instructer taught me;

    "I know it's the dual carraige way... but dont drive at speeds you cant control" I was only doing 80 :s

    "Just because theres a ned in the middle of the road sticking his middle finger up at you doesnt mean you have the legal right to hit him with your car... but thanks for asking instead of doing it & asking later" i hate neds (Trendies, townies)

    Hope these help you in some way

    erm, thats *very* interesting Chejo ^^;

    I heard that you get your lisences after around 9 month of practicing and exams, etc.. My cousin just came from America to sign for a scollarship to finish his studying there in the same college as tooma's bro at :p [what a coincident :D], and he managed to have a Bahraini [from Bahrain - my country] licences without having it our way. he said that he had it in 9 months after lots of efforts. Ah well, God help you all who didn't had their's yet :D

    I am a FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE GIIIIIIIIIIRRRRLLLL!!!! :D

    It's always funny hearing a sixteen year old say "I've been sixteen for 2 days and I don't have my driver's license yet.. I'm sooo sloww!!" Well I'm 18 and I haven't bothered to get my G1(it's the first driver's permit in Canada where you can drive but it has to be with an adult). I can't afford gas, or insurance, or a car so I'm just waiting until I get a career to get a car. Until then I'll stick to a bus pass and walking(yay for excercise [IMG])

    When I was younger my cousin was driving me to some place in Windsor and then suddenly a cop car drove onto the side walk next to his car and zoomed through a red light, almost crashing into us in the process. So my brother yelled out "let's get his license plate and report him to the police!!!" as a joke... then my cousin sped after the speeding cop car for about 10 minutes and when the officer realized it he pulled my cousin over and gave him a speeding ticket ^^;;;

    We don't have trains and buses and stuff here, so if you wanna go anywhere except for school in the mornings, you gotta drive. ^_^
    I got a while to wait before I can drive, (legaly, anyway)... the first time I tried to drive a car, I was 7. I was like cooool... key! And I put the car in reverse and crashed into teh guy across teh street's mailbox. It was so scaaaary. ;_;

    Just remember, Quisty, that there's no such thing as a brake. Only a second gas pedal! Muahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!

    Oh, and DO mind your speed. Seriously. If you become speed-accustomed, you get SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bored when you're doing a palsy 40. It's fun going fast and all...but, don't let it get to your head. Like me.

    *Says the guy who did 120 MPH on a civic...*

    P.S.: (Edit:) Be glad you don't live near me. I make a dreadful habit of harassing new drivers. Read: Cutting them off, slight tailgating, weaving around them (even with no traffic), or just turning on my turn signal to move into their lane while right beside them (it's LEGAL to do so, but they freak out because they think I'm gonna smash into them! ^_^). So, be happy. =P

    If you can't control your car at 80, something's wrong with either the car, or your driving technique.
