Looks exactly the same. Except for the clearly DOOM-ish elements, I doubt it would be anything new. *isn't going to bother even downloading it*

I'll stick with the good old fashioned version, myself. I'd like to see any of you beat my record on the original. I made it to about 500,000 points.

Well but what's the point? You're just shooting ducks. And from the looks of it they still die the same way. I mean, sure, we've all dreamed about shooting ducks with the BFG9000 instead of aliens, but if it's not going to explode in a rain of plasma-charged innards, there's just no point. :p

If you had tried the game at all, for more than 5 seconds, you would know what the humour is.

    To KaMeKaZi:

It's fun to blow up NES ducks DOOM style. The fact that you can waste ducks with a gatling gun instead of more "traditional" weapons is funny. The cartoony creatures are programmed to sound like the deadly behemoths from the DOOM game. You can punch the dog when he laughs at you to scare him. And sometimes that orchish type monster will display the ducks you shoot on one duck mode. Hilarious. Whoever moved my thread out of the humour section is crazy.

    To Shinryu:

When you get the rocket launcher, striking the ducks completely obliterates them. Had you bothered to try the game, you would have seen this.

Fine, since it's so "highly" recommended by you, I tried it. And yes, for more than 5 seconds. I played until the 12th round, long enough to get and try out every weapon. I failed to see any humour in it. Frankly the original game for the NES was far superior.

Not really. Part of it is that you have to aim with the mouse. It makes aiming a little different. The crosshair helps, but I'd rather rely on my eyes, and te gun in my hand. The good old fashioned NES gun is far more interesting than all the DOOM guns.

Perhaps. But a gatling gun, when you're limited to 30 bullets and 3 per duck? No. Just no.

The sound the game made when you shot the ducks in the original version was far more amusing.

Which requires you to quickly change weapons, punch, then quickly change back before the ducks fly again.

KaMe did it, and I agree with him. There's just not much humour in it. I can see how it's slightly amusing to play from a different point of view, but I still prefer the original.

Except that it requires you to predict where the duck will fly because it shows the rocket flying toward the duck, and it's almost impossible to hit with it. I don't see any humour in blowing up ducks.

NES Duck Hunt > DOOM Duck hunt

    By a lot.
