i have a ps2, and i also have one of the best games on ps2. Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty.
it has got to be one of my most fave games of all time, and so is its prequal, Metal Gear Solid.
the reason i enjoy those 2 games so much is because when i play, slowly i stat to get attatched
to the characters, i feel happy when somthing good happens, i feel angry when i die, but the
main feeling i get is saddness, when a character dies.
    *spoilers*
like when grey fox dies in the first one. and how he tells snake he was the one who killed Naomies
parents. And before he jumps off to a heroic end, he tells snake to tell naomi that it was him
who killed her parents. But later, when he talks to naomi, snake says "your brother
wanted me to pass u a message." Naoimi now crying, "wat was that?" Snake then hesitates and says
"He wanted you to never stop beliveing" (or some mushy thing like that). and that made me feel proud and sad at the same time for some reason.
Or when Sniper wolf died. I felt so sad for Otacon.
    Or when Meral dies.
Or when Phyco Mantis helps Snake with his last ounce of strength.
    *spoilers end*

But by far, the saddest moment would definatly be when
    *spoailers*
when E.E (aka Emma Emerich) dies. how all she wanted was to see her brother again. And she was only arond 15 years old:sad:. And to double the saddness, Otacon then cries and goes an about how he didnt
want to leave her, but he had an affair with her mum and stuff. and then he has the parrot and it saying stuff like "Hal." "I miss you" and then Otacon starts crying again. E.E didnt deserve to die.
    *spoilers end*
even now, whilst writing this, i am starting to feel sad.
i know thats all part of a great story line and all, but u know. its still really sad.

Yes, it was a sad, f***ed up storyline...but it really served to bring the characters to life! These games were pure genious. Hideo Kojima, I love you...

Emma was not only 15, she left with her mom at the age of 14~15...which is years before she went unto the shell. I'd say she's over 21, to be honest.

In any case, Otacon's "mom" is actually the step-mom...and, as such, Emma is his step-sister.

And yeah, these thing bring the MGS characters into reality. Though, sometimes too much...as in some of the dialogue between Jack and Rose.
