I know its a pain to do and were all supposed to do it to keep healthy, but how many of us really excercise? and if you do we obviously aplaud you, but what exactly do you do?

btw: i suprisingly run an hour a day while watching seinfeld & will &grace reruns. i also have to practice a horrible 4 hrs. for fencing and skiing.

Walking to class is the closest thing I do for exercise. They'd be 15 minute-walks, going uphill in one direction. Once in a while I go for a jog.

That is exactly the same way it is for me, except the occasional jog thing. :p I do walk everywhere, though, which gets me semi-worked out. Especially since the grocery store is a good half-mile away, and I gotta carry everything back in one trip.

A really good excercise for me is going to the beer store. It's a twenty or thirty minute walk off-campus. Carrying back a 2-4 over that long distance in the snow while wearing a heavy winter get-up ... that'll give you a great upper-body workout.

My college's elevator works weird, so usually I take the stairs up, usually to 6th floor.

Other than that, once or twice a week at the recreational park. Going to have to increase the frequency though.

I usually walk a few times a week, but not because I need the exercise but because i enjoy it ^^
Also I do Pilates sometimes, does anyone know of it? It's really good for flexibility and stuff. Anyone? Lol.
Sometimes the thought of physical activity is repulsive though...like now :glazed:

I go to the gym twice a week. I don't bother with thing's like the bike (just for the warm up) cause i'm not interested in it. I use the weight's all night. Now i've only started so i'm pretty skinny compared to the other guy's there.
I also walk to college so that's a 20 minute walk each way.
I used to cycle to college but that was when i was going to another college.

    - Tennis (optional sport choice each term) in school's lesson 7+8 on Tuesday.
    - Football (Soccer) whenever it is sunny or dry on Monday's and Friday's lunchtime. (I have prefect duties, community service and society attendance for the other days - at lunchtimes)
    - I walk home around once a week... usually with 3 bags (usually on Tuesdays, after sports lesson). And that's a 45 minute walk.
    - 'Will' start karate class after Friday school soon.

I exclude lesson travelling, that's unnecesary and does little anyway. Despite all thyis I'm not what thy say 'the right shape', I'm not fat but I have some excess in the waist... just a bit. So what? I don't do exercise/sport to keep healthy or loose weight. I do it because I love it.... that's all that matters... really.

I used to play badminton. Was in one of swedens best youth clubs, but stopped due to a injury.

Nowadays I play with a soccer team that is "living" in division 8. It's tough matches since the players are all around 25-30 year old. Play as a central midfielder now, it's a tough job, running up and down from the field in 90 mins.

P.E classes are tough. Had a crazy condition warm up in 1 hour, included sprints, sit ups, etc. Our teacher really pushes us, since she's our class mentor.

    ____________________

anyways ive noticed something... i used to walk to & from high school twice a day (Went home for lunch) roughly a 15 min walk, did Tae kwon do twice a week, & later on in the year i worked my way around the school gym once a week (Rowing machine, foot pushy thing, arm pully thing up & down, arm pully thing out & in) plus P.E twice a week... & now, 3 yrs later, ive stopped going to school & sorting out cash, going to the pub... & yet... ive stayed more or less the same weight :/

    Best. Exercise. Game. EVER.

Oh god, it's so addicting, it actually makes working out FUN! I was so bored (and annoyed) with working out at the gym, and it's BORING. I'm a music fiend and DDR helps me exercise becuase it's fun and a challange I will gladly accept. Plus, it's MUSIC!!
