Eirtaku Eirtaku forum moves from EZB to M2A

Hi all -

Glad to have the Irish otakus of "Eirtaku" on board. Kind of ironic considering EZB is down today

The import went okay, considering it was a homegrown set of Perl scripts that I cobbled together, and had to use UBB as an intermediary step.

Anyway, things that have been lost and gained along the way:

* Managed to port over 21 of the 29 (I think) users. I was able to keep post counts and profile information for those... But for those whose e-mail information was private, their addresses aren't appearing.

* Some of the posts have HTML in them that is not being recognised by vB - will have to just ignore it, at least the message content is still there.

* You can now select an Anime/Manga avatar from our set of over 650 (and more coming soon).

Can those people who had existing Eirtaku accounts e-mail a new password with the old account username to cloud@mangatoanime.com. List follows:

There's still one or two problems, the first being with garbage html - I'm writing some code at the moment to remove that.

Second problem is with posts missing, I've manually gone and reinserted them where missing from specific threads.

 

Hehe XCR diablo, when I imported the Eirtaku forums there were two XCR diablo accounts, I guess you can choose which one you want to use - I think a confirm e-mail was sent to your Eirtaku e-mail for the XCR diablo without the 2...
