i think we all know not all of the anime lovers all got ALL (read this word very carefully, i do got SOME legal stuff) their anime legally bought.

i dare to bet some even got no legal at all.

but whats the point here? simple, we all lost CuteMX (you know, a really great anime share network) and we all need a replacement. Personally i think such program needs chat, download (offcourse, and with resume), and perhaps search. so Imesh is no good (it also sux all the power after 2 days). anyone with a good idea, like hacking the CuteMX program and imitate the server, plz post a reply, or send me a email. nidoranz@hotmail.com

I have been using Edonkey2000 for a while. Does all that. Relatively small user base, so far, but it can only grow.

Does rad stuff like automatically get the file from the fastest person you can handle, non centralized, can't be shut down, but still server based, so not butt slow like gnutella. I like it. Wish it was mine, then I'd be cool
    Check edonkey2000.com

or, a napster clone that can share anything, like Audiognome, or my fave: WinMX. quite nice.

CuteMx never worked for me.. I could connect, but it would time out everytime I searched, or tried to do anything half usefull.

But its proably just as well, being on modem looking at all the cool stuff up for grabs - but no way of getting it half easily.

I've been using IRC channels through mIRC for a year and a half now, great thing is, now I've got direct/free trade agreements with a bunch of people.

BTW: I do have an ever-growing collection of Anime DVD's. Support the series you love!

Sanity1971, an old CuteMXer, suggested this package:

    http://www.neo-modus.com/

Try connecting to the "Ultimate Anime Hub" when you install.
