And then the sun will explode and wipe out everything on this planet anyway, regardless of how ethical they were.:p

What do you mean by this, Vicious? Are you saying that it is better to live like a third world society with no technology at all, rather than have things the way they are right now?

Its too late for that isnt it....but all im saying is that it wouldve been better if we just had a little technology in our lives such as the things we really need. Technology is our deadliest weapon.

Uses of some types of technology:
1: Biochemical weapons BIO meaning life (get the picture)
2: Cures (eventually bringing about new deceases)
3: weapons (guns bombs etc.) *destroyer of life*

Theres more but i cant think of any................
What i meant is that this is the type of technology that will be our demise.

There are only dangerous people. Does all technology have to become lumped together with weapons just because of the sadistic dreams of a few?

Having a weapon of your own acts as a preventative measure against other, more vilolent types of people. I believe in peace through strenght. Humans, no matter if they have technology or not, will always be violent. Not a significant number, but enough to wreak a vision of utopia. I would reackon that there would NEVER be an airline hijacking again if the companies handed out loaded guns to people on board. In the US constitution, the right to bear arms was given so people could protect themselves from each other and wildlife (or to hunt wildlife for that matter).

As for cures. You are damned if you create one and really damned if you don't. God knows I would be dead if they didn't create a cure for a fleash eating disease I got from a spider. Thanks to technology, the disease is gone forever (unless I get another bite  ).
