if only i could trust people at home to tape what I asked them to, apparently the VCR is a technology beyond the humble folks in carlow.

 

You didn't miss much last week, BGC was a major disapointment.
PB is a classic though, every anime fan should of seen that by now.

Tonight they're showing the Street Fighter 2 movie along with episode 2 of BGC.

The SF 2 movie is quite good, it's worth checking out the fansubbed version because the Eng. dub had an entirely different soundtrack.

The Manga Video dub had bands like Korn and Silverchair on it, which is OK if you like that kinda stuff.

BGC isn't quite as crap as the first episode suggested.
There was a nice little nod to Ryuichi Sakamoto in the March 2nd episode. When they were checking the registrations for the owners of the Griffin cars his name featured at the bottom of the list.

Next week though, they're showing Osamu Tezuka's BlackJack.
I've yet to see it but when Tezuka is regarded as a God it can't be too rubbish.
