hey everyone, I'm new and I have to be fast cuz of dinner. I just signed up less than 20 minutes ago. Anyway, I wanted to ask if any of you guys have heard of the manga Planet Ladder by Yuri Harushima. I own 4 out of 5 of them. At least Tokyopop said there were only 5 volumes. Anyway, if any of you guys have heard of it, come talk to me. I would like a buddy who actually knows about the series! Thanks! :D

Planet Ladder by Yuri Harushima? Yeah I've heard of it. I own 1-4 also, and I didn't know there was only going to be 5...oh well, I guess it's a short series then. But it's an awesome series. I thought it was going to be stupid when I read the synopsis, but then I looked at the more modern-anime art style and decided I'd buy the first one. The next day I found myself at the store buying 2, 3, and 4.

I wonder why it isn't an anime? Apparently Planet Ladder was written in 98 (I think), so it would've been at least considered being made into an anime by now...

My favorite character is Kagami. He's hot and adorable at the same time (and no, I'm not a fangirl and that's not the only reason I like him)

Do you maybe know when 5 is coming out? Book 4 only said " coming in 2003." Wish I knew. Anyway, welcome to the forums! I'm new too; I only have about 8 posts...heh heh. Okay, I gotta go if there's even hope of a few hours of sleep before school.

I'll talk to you!! I'm one of the webmistress of Temple of Planet Ladder. I also own all of the 4 books that's out ^_^ I'd love to talk to you about it!

Actually, whether it's to be made into an anime, it's uncertain. The last time I checked Narushima-san's official site, there were only four books. If Tokyopop says five, then the fifth book is probably pretty recent too. Maybe if it gets popular enough, the whole series, I mean, then PL might be made into an anime.

Alucard666- going to borders is a better idea. they usually have somewhat a good selection but sometimes they can be just a crappy as bn. it might be better to find a big borders that mights have recently opened or something big like that. if you live in ct you could go to the borders past the west farms mall. it in west hartford but since its close to the border of farmington it has an adress of that. but others wise just try. you could also ask the people to hold whatever issue you wanted when they got new shippments or you could ask them to order a manga for you. they can do that.
Chi- Volume 5 should be coming during the week of march 11. at least last i heard. too bad it's such a short series. i own all four right now too.
