Excel Saga Excel Saga... Close to Release?

It's close enough that trailers are appearing... not that I have it, mind you... if I did, I'd post a link.

I jsut got an "excel saga movie commercial" whatever that is. Completely untranslated, so I'm not sure what it is.

 

Actually, I'm referrig to ADV filmo having a trailer for Excel Saga on one of their recent releases, YK brought this to my attention, and I've forgotten what DVD it was, I think it was a movie though, as soon as I get IRC back online, it'll be time to start asking around about it.. to see if anyone's ripped it.

You think it was a movie that had the trailer, or the trailer was for a movie?

The "movie commercial" I saw had footage from the series.. Dunno if it was a joke, or if they didn't feel like showing actual footage, or if it is made up of parts of the series.. ack. Yeah, figure out where you saw your trailer, and I'll have to see it

 

It's an ADV filmo trailer for the series, on the dvd of a movie they released. YK mentioned it the last time he was over. I'll ask again next time he's over, then someone can rent the movie for the express purpose of ripping the trailer!

Well, as to the DVD it's on, I believe it's Plastic Little. I also think that disc hasn't hit it's official release date yet; it comes out sometime this month. I hope it's more than just basically a creditless opener and that somebody rips the trailer and spreads it around so we can all get a look at it (that person won't be me, I'd rather keep some distance between me and a release like Plastic Little).
