    Managed to see the opening to this series and it really cracked me up!

    Has anyone managed to see any of this? If you have, what did you think?

    Judging from the amount of Excel Saga in jokes flowing around the board, someone is bound to have seen it. Of course, since they are in jokes, how was an "outsider" to have known?

    I've seen up thru ep 4, but those 4 eps seemed like seasons and seasons (in a good way)

    So, I thought it was hilarious. Watch it. Soon you will understand the meaning of

    I've seen some of what my sister got from TamaKameKami. But she has it at her place...I should get my own copy. I've seen up to episode 6 I believe, it's hillarious!

    Mini-skirts? Had no idea...I thought our differing was on how to pronounce things from SMJ, and your dislike of 'fantasy games'?

    ah yes fantasy games. I was thinking in strictly anime terms. And pronunciation differences don't point to a difference in interest, just a speech impediment, cause my SMJ pronunciations are right on [​IMG] Since I don't remember which ones are in question, I suppose I'll have to check the SMJ forum again. darn

    So, throw out the fantasy RPGs and I guess you are ok hehe

    sniff Poor Menchi... poor Excel for slipping on a Banana Peel, poor Pedro..who is some form of cough cough slave to Itz-Chan (or whatever her Miss Universe's name)...poor Mister who broke his ankle, whacked his head and died from doing a triple side flip in the air to only be brought back to life to lose his moustache..poor people in the 'Kill Immediately department', poor mecha girls who lose their heads within centimetres of huge explosions...poor Hyatt who always dies or something...poor poor Menchi....sniff...

    Ooohhh....you make me soooo....soooo...soooo some-word-which-I-can't-quite-think-of-right-this-moment-but-believe-me-it-is-appropriate-to-this-discussion!

    My 'list' is actually currently under repairs anyway, so Excel might get splattered along somewhere...

    In regards to anime, I suppose we're equally 'perfect reviewers', so Fantasy games can take a backseat fer now, huh?

    BakaMattSu, ah! yes, the 'anti-me' floating around somewhere out on that abyss called 'Earth'...one day I shall strike!!! Mwahahahahahahaha, etc...

    I doubt too much craziness could be spoiled by all this. But you may want to hold off reading to many of these until you've seen some.

    There's another reason you need to see it right away, so you can read this thread without worrying about mini spoilers!

    Really though, there isn't too much given away here, cause most of it is nonsense until you do see the show.

    Only seen one thing so far that might give something away before-hand. Maybe. The rest is junk until you see it. So no fear, continue to revel in our drivellings.

    Excel Saga is one of the most screwed up and hilarious series out there. Without giving too much away, here's some random Excel Saga moments:

    Pretty durn funny show. Episode four especially so. I think that's the one anyway. It started with a wonderfully bad Engrish (the international language) conversation over a hellicopter shot. I honestly have never laughed so much at an anime.

    Episode three actually (Sacrifice Of The Deadly Hell Of Escape) Episode 4 is "Weird Love"

    Ep 3 is also the one with those great special effects I mentioned too [​IMG]
