    ^^ I have recently took a great liking to this anime, and plan on buying the imports, episodes 1-26..Of course, the first DVD with episodes 1-6 will be released in America on June 11..

    What is this anime about???

    lol! :D if you have time go through some of the Excel Saga posts in the Excel forum, starting from the beginning, k?

    Excel, man I love this show! its so crazy and so funny! but, Its about this girl, named Excel, who is part of an organization called Across, and she is in total love with her leader, Ilparatzo. With silly antics from her co-worker, Hyatt, her neighbours, the director, Nabeshin, and Menchi, her back-up food supply, your in for a riot! well, my synopsis is horrible, but I'm sure theres one in the forum ;) ENJOY!!!

    It's actually a multi-layered medley of storylines...I'll try my best:

    1) The "Main" story. Across is a small secret organization bent on world domination under the guidance of Ilparatzo (sp?). To begin simply, their current attempts are to take hold of "F City, in F Province" of Japan. Excel (and very quickly, Hyatt) are the only two apparent employees at disposal...

    2) Menchi. This plot is all about a dog seeking happiness, life, and more-than-that, freedom. After all, she is Excel's emergency food supply...:)

    3) "The neighbors" Starting as a down-on-their-luck unemployed trio, these guys end up each falling into different romantic dreams and Official duties...

    4) The Puchuus. They're just too cuuute. Or are they really? Aliens from an unknown realm, they've apparently also come to take over the world (meaning they're a competitor to Across :))

    5) Pedro. He gets killed, and his former co-worker steals his wife and kid for his own. Can he ever find happiness?

    And that's the lowdown. Very crazy to watch...like insane almsot, but it's pretty much like a term I've heard used to describe Seinfeld..."A Show About Nothing"...

    Excellent nonethless....:D

    That little synopsis that seraphim did reminded me of those fast talking bits and the end of each episode telling you what'll happen next week.:D

    hmmm one of them.. always finding new anime or discovering old anime. It's hard to decide which one is my favourite. but Excel is awesome ;)

    excel is funny but most of the time it dosn't make sense like............andaconda in a jungle train in a jungle a guy pullng three guns out of his hair menchi with a machine gun........etc.

    I just saw the first episode and I have one word to describe my feelings about this specific anime: Across!:p No im just kidding. This word just stuck to my mind because excel kept repeating it !! Its cute how she pronounces this word!!! Anyway, Excel saga is crazy! ^.^ Its so funny how she tries to obey Ilparatzo and do everything he wishes .. even killing the manga author! lol thats funny! What also made me LMAO was every time Excel gets killed by either getting hit by a truck or by Ilparatzo this Universe lady appears and brings excel to life.:D heh!
    Its crazy!!!
